NOTE TO ALL DESIGNERS: Please remember when creating HTML layouts that you do not use general global selectors (link, body, h1, etc.) when styling your layout! It will cause the site to break on that page. When styling your layout, make sure that your selectors are unique to that specific layout or clan/group. (instead of .welcome it's .clanwelcome).
TL;DR Use CSS selectors unique to that clan or group page.
Hello! As I will be taking over the Adoption Center, Neverforgotten and I have decided that we would like to merge the Find-A-Mate page and the Adoption Center page together. Which means we will be needing a new layout for this!
What we're looking for
Easily able to access information from both pages. Not required, but tabs similar to those on the SC/DF page are a bonus.
Place to feature kitting/adoptable threads
Any information that is already on the pages. The only information that needs to be changed is the deletion of the survival clans/AL.
This contest will go on until March 6th 13th. Date is subject to change. Have fun with this!
Bonus: if you enter the contest, I will make a kitting thread for a clan/group of your choosing. Winner can receive a banner or photomanip made by yours truly.
So this isn't completely finished at the time of me posting this response. But I wanted to put it up since it's the last day to enter and I want to make my participation clear.
I would like to add comments because there is a enough code for two pages on one. I tried to keep it simple and things similar so I could reuse things but I didn't really succeed. If things need to be tweaked or there are questions please reach out and ask! <3
Hey circle, I just thought that I would mention that if you want to use this site for coding contests or practice that you can :3 I can promote you to scientist. This site uses the same coding as the main site, so that there is no trouble transferring between the two
That would be wonderful! I made my own proboards site with the same theme simply because I wanted to make sure the code would work with the forum wrapper. But being able to keep to the revamp site while working on things would be appreciated! Would I just edit it like I edit the other site? Is it sort of self explanatory how to do it, something I will know what I gain the ability to edit? Or should I just see and then message you with questions?
Sorry about responding so late, I had a death in the family. It should just be like editing on your other site, but of course don't be afraid to send me any questions. I will go and change your site rank, you just need to go onto your profile and change your display group to scientist. You will be able to see everyone's pages, but only edit the ones you create unless you have permission
