NOTE TO ALL DESIGNERS: Please remember when creating HTML layouts that you do not use general global selectors (link, body, h1, etc.) when styling your layout! It will cause the site to break on that page. When styling your layout, make sure that your selectors are unique to that specific layout or clan/group. (instead of .welcome it's .clanwelcome).
TL;DR Use CSS selectors unique to that clan or group page.
Hello everyone! WCC2 has always tried to keep track of our clan's history, but this has become a little more difficult on proboards due to not having the page 'versions' that we can go back and look at. This contest is to create a page(hml) that we can use to record the extensive history of these clans, so that they can be remembered for years to come. This is a lot of information, so it will be a challenge to create an easy way of recording this information. You will create ONE layout that can be used for all of the clans, but it would be nice if they could be easily customized for each group (ie banners, pics, background images, colors and ranks are EASY to change to make each layout look slightly different for each group). You can leave images blank so that they can be filled in by the current leader of the clan or administrators.
RULES & REQUIREMENTS ->
The layout may be in html
The layout must have a way to list past staff members(leader, deputy, mc, mca, ext) and when they had their position (month-year, month-year)
The layout must have a way to record clan history(important events), traditions, legends, religion, and when these things were created.
The layout must have a way to record past clan-wide plots and links to important clan threads
PICKING A WINNER -> The winner will be decided by a site-wide poll on WCC2. However if your layout does not meet the requirements above, it will be disqualified. We will stop taking submissions on January 17th. The vote will begin on January 18th and end on January 25th.
